When it comes to Western music and groups that perform that particular genre, there's only one group that comes to mind, and their longevity says it all. The legendary Sons of the Pioneers. For the past 85 years this group has been active non-stop. Founded in early 1934 in Los Angeles, their members have totaled close to 50 men in that amount of time, but one thing has remained nearly the same-their vocal and instrumental sound. Southern California isn't their home base anymore, but their songs of the American West and the working Cowboy continue to make sold-out audiences feel at home at their many concert appearances nationwide and into Canada.
